Nishiki Trekking Master SLD Gents Aluminium Bike

The ultra in the Trekking Master range, as the name suggests, is even more highly spec'ed than it's Master siblings. It is centred around a gents specific double butted 6061 aluminium frame which offers both strength and lightness. The frame geometry is ideal for day to day activities. The Master SLD is fitted with lightweight Nishiki forks. A Selle Royal Seta saddle, which is both lighter and more comfortable, replaces the standard seat. Gear components which are even more honed from the market leader Shimano and consist of Shimano front M430 and rear M771 derailleurs with a Shimano crankset. All combine to produce a solid, efficient, lighter gear selection. Stopping power is provided by a set of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. The Master eats up the tarmac on a pair of lightweight 36 spoke Linus Plus rims with quick release alloy hubs coupled with Schwalbe City Plus 700x37c anti-puncture tyres with reflective bands. At 15.2kg this is a solid bike built to accommodate additional luggage weight, hazardous road conditions and to keep on rolling. The difference of the SLD is in the additional shaving of weight and higher class gear system.
